Although a lot of research has been done in the field and study of zits over time, the exact reason why some people get acne and some don’t is certainly not yet common knowledge. It is well known that you are more susceptible if a parent or close blood relative has suffered from it before, but that certainly cannot be the only element. I have been told that zits drugs and medication never really cure you; basically your body cures itself. The drugs are there to help your body remember to cure itself; otherwise they provide it with the strength it needs to combat certain situations. Curing acne is consequently, largely, not done by the acne medication you use, but by your own body. The choice of drugs, though, does have to be made by the physician and not you; so that you don’t select something that hurts you more than it helps you.

Acne may appear just about anywhere on your body, even though most individuals experience it on their faces only. Other parts where the lesions are frequently found to grow are your chest, your back, your shoulders and your upper arms. Already seeing it in these parts of your body is often cause for sincere alarm, but when it grows in other parts also, you know you have a major situation that requires major attention.

Nodules and inflammatory cysts often appear on individuals’s skins when they are going to be getting severe acne. One of the more severe forms of the complaint is known as cystic acne, known to occur specifically when the foregoing happens. Watch out for the cysts and nodules, and the events that bring them about.
